Health Care Reform

What are we the people to do about this health care reform. The leaders in Washington seem to be creating a plan with so much controversy, how are we suppose to know if they are doing right by us all. I know you can't please everyone all of the time but, it seems that they are putting things in the health care reform bill that shouldn't be there. They always make every bill so complicated and lengthy that none of the members of the house or senate have time to completely read it all. Therefore many things in the bill go through that shouldn't and we the people suffer for it. The special interest groups are the ones that slide these other things into the bill( by way of the politician they have in their pocket). What we need to do is to keep doing what we have been. Holding town meetings and tea party gatherings to let them know that we are not ignorant nor are we going to sit idly by and let them ruin our health care or turn it into a socialized health care. Our president is already trying to make this great country a socialistic one and I for one will not stand by and let that happen. He may have gotten to be president by being someones (the rich) puppet but I refuse to be. Please let your voice be heard!

Well, I see GM is going to try and sell some cars on Ebay! Talk about desperate!!!! Next thing you know they will be having garage sales. What a JOKE!!!! Don't these car company's and other corporations realize that we can't buy their products when they only want to pay employees $8 - $10 an hour. It's their own greed that has hurt( them) Americas' corporations and more and more people are getting fed up with it all.

A Slap in the Faces of the Auto Workers.

What the H is going on? Now I see Mr Wagoner past CEO of GM who was let go is retiring Aug 1st. His retirement package is worth 10 million.What a joke and a slap in all of our Americans faces. The government gave GM 50 billion and this is how they restructure. If me and my wife were to go into bankruptcy how could I give anyone a big amount of money.I wouldn't have it to give.Why do we let this happen?Speak out!!!

Summertime Fun

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. With the economy still not good and a lot of people laid off, I know it's hard for some to have fun this summer. Remember that you don't have to spend money to enjoy life.You can go for walks and bicycle rides where you can enjoy the outdoors,get exercise and be one with nature for awhile.You would be surprised how relaxing and fun it can be.It's a great stress reliever too. Whatever you decide to do this summer, please be safe and try and keep the faith that things will get better.Positive thoughts bring on positive results. Have a great summer.
